圖片集【2016立會選戰】高官在港島區投票 特首遇社民連示威
在投票日早上，市民到不同票站投票。前特首董建華及一些政府官員早上到自己所屬票站投票；而特首梁振英上午八時左右去到所屬票站高主教書院投票，但就遇到社民連主席吳文遠，梁國雄及古思堯等人示威。示威人士被警方安排到票站對面行人路，他們大叫口號，呼籲港島區選民用選票踢走建制派、踢走梁振英。在梁振英進入票站期間，社民連主席吳文遠向梁振英投擲物件，但未有擲中。吳文遠事後解釋向梁振英示威的原因是因為今次選舉不公平以及政府福利政策不善。隨後，梁振英及太太梁唐青儀分別將選票投入票箱，並呼籲市民積極投票，然後離開票站，而社民連等人亦和平散去。選管會公佈，截至早上九點半，選管會收到186宗選舉投訴，其中116宗關於選舉廣告，17宗關於拉票活動。
