【2016立會選戰】最多議席的新界東選情激烈

立法會選舉新界東選區這次有22張名單競逐9個議席，是地區直選中選情最激烈的一區，不少候選人在早上開始進行拉票活動。代替梁天琦出選的青年新政召集人梁頌恆是區內民調裡最有機會出選的本土派候選人。不過，成報在投票日前刊登在頭版質疑青年新政幕後金主是前基本法委員會成員劉迺強，梁頌恆駁斥指控失實，但不認為會影響選情。今屆有劉慧卿「抬轎」的民主黨林卓廷就認為新界東選情激烈，勝負難料。拉票工作除了候選人站街站之外，還有人選擇「洗酒樓」。自由黨的李梓敬在民調中很大機會「捫車邊」獲得最後一席，甚至不能夠獲得議席，他估計自己未必能勝出。
