【2016立會選戰】投票延遲結束中央點票推遲

立法會選舉投票結束後，功能組別的票箱陸續運抵亞洲博覽館的中央點票中心統一點票。首兩個來自茘枝角的票箱在約零時20分由保安護送運抵點票中心，但因太古城一票站投票仍未結束，令點票工作需要延遲
等待了大約兩個多小時。
在凌晨2時50分選管會主席馮驊到場打開票箱，工作人員開始點票。
馮驊解釋：「由於票站租借問題令港島選區及功能組別的點票工作較上屆延誤。今次的安排不理想，選管會一定會研究和詳細跟進並會在選舉報告中交代。」
馮驊預料地方直選點票會在早上完成，而中央點票中心最快會於中午完成點票工作。
