氣温 ℃ 【2016立會選戰】梁國雄新東保末席 新人林卓廷 梁頌恆入局
新界東是最後一個公佈結果的地方直選選區，由於票數非常接近，部分選票需要重點。
新東九席依次為民建聯葛珮帆有58,825票、公民黨楊岳橋有52,416票、工黨張超雄有49,800票、民建聯陳克勤有48,720票、人民力量陳志全有45,993票、民主黨林卓廷有39,327票、青年新政梁頌恆有37,997票、新民黨容海恩有36,183票。排第九位的社民連梁國雄以約1,000票之差擊敗方國珊，獲35,595票成功連任。
