【台南神農街】活化老房子

台南神農街是一條具有三百年歷史的街道，亦是台南目前保存最完善的老街之一。這條街上的老屋都保留了清代及日治初期的外觀結構，有不少年輕一代不想老屋就此被遺忘，所以將老屋活化，發展成民宿、咖啡店、手作舖等，令老屋的元素得以保留。同時亦令神農街成為台南新興的旅遊景點。

這家咖啡店的負責人Susan說這幢老屋是她爺爺留下來的，承載了三代人一甲子的感情，加上她哥哥姊姊作為年輕一代都認為老屋很有歷史價值，不想輕易被人遺忘。所以將這裡翻新為咖啡店和民宿。

活化不代表是淘汰，反而可以將舊有的事物保留，再重新結合現代元素，令年輕一代可以將這個歷史的回憶繼續保留下去。
